MY BIGGEST TIP FOR IMPROVING YOUR CONFIDENCE

That’s my “I feel so awkward and uncomfortable” laugh ☝🏼.

As awesome as my photographer (Joelle Elizabeth) is at making you feel like a boss woman in front of a camera, my center of attention anxiety is long standing.

And as much as I love photos and photography, you’d think I’d be way less anxious in front of a camera, but that’s not what it feels like... and yet I do it anyways. And actually I do a lot of things that feel uncomfortable (as often as I can), because I truly believe that the more comfortable you are in discomfort, the greater your power, your self belief, and your confidence.

I learned a long time ago that challenging myself physically (hard workouts or feats like hiking to the top of a mountain), and mentally (fears & self doubts, like being the center of attention in a photo shoot) actually teach me the most about myself, and ultimately make me stronger.

The situations that have made me the most physically uncomfortable, the most scared, they ultimately changed me (for the better), because they were things that no one else could “do” for me or “get through” for me. They reminded me that I am pretty dang powerful.

It’s the reason I created a business around helping you transform your body (& life) through facing the challenges that happen (in your brain) and pushing you physically, challenging you in here (the gym). Because without facing what’s going on in your head, nothing happens permanently with your body. And by facing challenges physically, like tough workouts, that’s also how you change what’s going on up in your headspace. It’s all a domino effect. It’s a fact, in order to gain strength we have to stretch our limits.

That’s literally the definition of stretch: capable of being made longer or wider without tearing or breaking - now we aren’t looking to make you longer or wider - but we are looking to make you more capable - capable of taking on more of life, on handling life better, and on creating more life within and around you, and that requires stretching your current self.
